Netscape launches its own version of Digg

In an attempt to regain user preference for the Netscape site AOL have launched a beta version of the new Netscape which works in a similar way to Users post stories of interest and the more votes a story gets, the higher up the rankings it moves on the homepage. The essential difference between Digg & the net Netscape seems to be that Netscape also has a bunch of editor bloggers who pick out the top ranking stories and follow them up with commentary and supplementary editorial.
