3 great interview questions to explore weaknesses

What’s the best way to find someone’s weakness? Adam Grant gives us the hot tip.

  1. What’s a piece of constructive criticism you’ve gotten recently? (This tells you not only what they identify as a weakness but also how they’re working to improve).
  2. What’s a positive quality that you don’t posses? (it reframes the weakness in a way that can’t be answered as “I work too hard”).
  3. How would others describe their weaknesses?(Are they conscious of their weaknesses and how others perceive them?
