“Draw the art you want to see, start the business you want to run, play the music you want to hear, write the books you want to read, build the products you want to use, do the work you want to see done.” Austin Kleon

Remote Culture

Building a great culture within remote teams

How do we build our workplace culture when everyone is working remotely? How do we embed the values and behaviors that are meaningful to us as an organisation when everyone is zooming from their own offices and houses connecting only via screen?

How do we lift the substance of our conversations and our questions, to amplify connection?

When we keep asking the same question, or no questions at all, we lose out on a chance for deeper connections with our conversation partners, who also happen to be the people we care most about. We are tricked into believing we know how they’re feeling or what they’re thinking, when we haven’t even scratched the surface.
